Pathfire delivers video content to newsrooms with D S Simon

Pathfire and D S Simon Productions are working together to distribute video news releases, b-roll footage and other short-form content directly to newsroom desktops in broadcast newsrooms throughout the U.S.

Beginning this month D S Simon will deliver video content to newsrooms through the Pathfire Digital Media Gateway (DMG), an automated IP-multicast distribution platform with servers located in broadcast facilities.

News producers will now be able to receive video content produced by D S Simon directly on their desktops for immediate preview and selection, through the same platform used to receive network news services content.
