Omneon Appoints Asia/Pacific Sales Vice President
California-based Omneon-provider of networked media servers-appointed Eric Masters as vice president of Asia/Pacific sales to lead the staff in the Singapore and Hong Kong offices.

"The complement of Omneon offices now servicing Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan are being staffed with experienced Omneon support personnel, and under Eric's leadership, they will provide a firm foundation for continued growth throughout the region," said Omneon's worldwide sales vice president Dan Marshall.

Previously, Masters worked at the director-level at Quantel Asia Pacific and Quantel Australia. Prior, he served as managing director at Tekniche Asia Pacific.

Omneon opened a new customer service and support center in Singapore May 28. The company's Asia/Pacific sales office opened in Hong Kong on May 24.
