Miranda Acquiring Nvision
Miranda Technologies, maker of large-scale routers, displays, and other hardware and software for television, has agreed to buy sometime partner Nvision, a maker of routing systems based in Grass Valley, Calif.

The two companies have collaborated on several projects and product offerings, including the teaming of Miranda’s Kaleido-X Multi-Image Display Systems and Nvision's large-matrix multiformat routers for monitoring needs.

“The proposed acquisition of Nvision will strengthen our overall product offering and competitive stance,” said Miranda President and CEO Strath Goodship. “They are a natural fit with our branding, interfacing and multiviewer product lines and will also bring considerable technical expertise.”

The deal is valued at $40 million and expected to close by Dec. 31.
