Link Research Ltd, a manufacturer of digital wireless camera systems based in the U.K., is expanding its market to the U.S. with the opening its own sales office in Los Angeles.

The company, which markets the LinkXP digital wireless camera system, has, until now sold most of its technology to customers in Europe, Asia and South America, but is hoping to gain a foothold in the U.S.

"The uptake of wireless camera systems is currently the one major change taking place in the field of live news and sports broadcasting. We are excited about the possibility of working with American broadcasters as they change over to these new systems", said Newlin Warden, director of Link Research.
