Leitch announces new VP and GM for Videotek division

Leitch’s Videotek division now has a new vice president and general manager.

Dave Guerrero, a 35-year broadcast industry veteran, has been appointed to VP and GM of the test and measurement portion of Leitch's Infrastructure products division, following the retirement of former Videotek president and founder, Phil Steyaert.

Guerrero will manage the day-to-day operations of Leitch's Videotek business and work directly with customers and industry forums to support new product development and increase market share.

Before joining Videotek in 2002, Guerrero held various positions within the broadcast radio and television industry, including the role of engineer in charge of network-level remote productions for all U.S. broadcast networks. He also served as engineering supervisor for the coverage of numerous live events including the Seoul, Atlanta and Salt Lake City Olympics, and NFL and NBA championship games.
