Concurrent introduces Real-Time Media

Concurrent has introduced its real-time encoding technology for cable operators. Concurrent’s Real-Time Media enables cable operators to deliver enhanced, automated on-demand services, such as network-based digital video recording (NDVR), to their customers.

Concurrent’s Real-Time Media allows individual components to be added as needed, with connections via standard interfaces to the rest of the system. With Concurrent’s 4th generation platform technology, streams, storage and content ingest are scaled independently, allowing Real-Time Media to be overlaid on the MediaMatrix, with content access available to all servers within the MediaMatrix system.
