Computer Modules Launches Pro Video/Broadcast Division
San Diego-based Computer Modules recently announced the launch of its new Professional Broadcast Products Division, DVEO, at NAB. Originally an OEM distributor of video components, the division now offers products ranging from PCI cards and software to turnkey systems for the pro video and broadcast markets.

CMI also offers DVD ASI, SMPTE 310 M, SMPTE259M, SMPTE292M and HDTV products as well as 1080p-capable decoders. The company is currently partnered with Germany-based MikroM Gmbh to develop the MVH-100 and MVC-400 HD decoders for digital cinema and entertainment markets.
