Broadcast Store, Digital Media to 'Converge'
Broadcast Store (BCS) has inked a deal with Digital Media Technologies to distribute its Playbox product line under the Convergence brand name.

The system--including software and custom-configured hardware--provides a complete ingest-to-playout video server that consists of five core programs; Airbox for automated content playout, Listbox for program schedule creation, Capturebox for automatic and manual ingest of video and audio, Databox for content management and Titlebox for interactive on-air graphics.

Los Angeles-based satellite TV company IPTV is BCS's flagship customer for the server.
