Autocue integrates Star News India

Autocue will provide Star News India with a 55-seat QSeries system featuring fully integrated newsroom, media management, browsing, and automation capabilities.

The system will be installed in Bombay, Delhi and 21 other remote locations around India. In addition, Star is also buying 14 Autocue prompting systems which will be connected to the QSeries newsrooms.

The system will also integrate with a high-resolution server and editing system from Quantel, and with an on-air graphics system from vizrt to create a seamless working environment for Star's journalists, who will be using it to create and broadcast a 24-hour Hindi news service for the subcontinent.

Star News will go on the air in March 2003.
