Trinity Broadcasting Network Gets New HD Studio

Trinity Broadcasting Network's new high-definition studio in Costa Mesa, Calif. is now operational. The facility was designed and constructed by TV Magic Inc., a California broadcast and A/V systems integrator and telecommunications company.

The facility will support broadcasts of TBN's "Praise the Lord" television program and other TBN presentations.

"TBN has been providing viewers with the very best in quality faith-based programming for more than 30 years now, and this new HD-capable studio illustrates our commitment to delivering a memorable television experience with every broadcast," said Paul Crouch Jr., TBN vice president. "Cable providers and viewers alike have been demanding programming shot in HD, and TV Magic provided the technical skill and expertise to put TBN on the cutting-edge of television production. Our goal at TBN is to offer the best inspirational programming to a constantly growing audience through various cable and television formats, and the services provided by TV Magic are key to this effort."

The facility includes six Grass Valley LDK4000 cameras equipped with Canon HD lenses, a Grass Valley Kalypso production switcher, Panasonic DVCPRO VTRs, Ikegami monitors, Miranda terminal equipment and an SSL audio console.

The new facility is located 10 miles from the TBN master control facility in Tustin, Calif., and will serve as the primary feeder for the network's high-definition content.
