Wohler to unveil Wohler Plus audio processing, monitoring

At NAB2008, Wohler Technologies will introduce the Wohler Plus line of audio processing and monitoring products tailored to the needs of digital broadcasting, including terrestrial broadcasting, video over IP, cable and satellite.

Wohler Plus offers a new approach to processing and monitoring, providing a variety of DSP options so each unit can be configured for the specific functions required by a facility.

This flexibility eliminates the need for all-or-nothing boxes, helping broadcasters to lower operational costs. The modular system features flexible inputs (16 channels or eight AES pairs) and outputs, alarms, monitoring and metering as well as multichannel synchronizing and channel shuffling for 5.1 or 7.1 signal confidence.

Optional inputs include AES and multirate serial digital embedded audio with Dolby encoding. The 2RU Wohler Plus features a high-resolution TFT screen and onboard menu system for control as well as Ethernet, RS-232 and GPIO interfaces.

See Wohler Technologies in NAB booth N1317, or visit www.wohler.com.
