TRUE Systems PT2-500 mic pre to premier at NAMM

True Systems has introduced the PT2-500 mic pre and DI. Descendant of the company’s Precision 8, which squeezes eight audiophile-grade preamps into a single rack space, the PT2-500 conforms to the modular 500 Series format. The PT2-500 delivers stunning detail and rich analog depth in a robust, reliable design. The PT2-500 is module sized for the 500 Series, making it rack-ready without buying additional power supplies and multiple racks.

The PT2-500 features up to 70dB of low-noise mic gain along with a high-quality direct input (DI) function for amps and effects. Switchable phantom power, 80Hz high-pass filter and polarity reverse give the unit appropriate flexibility. Like all TRUE Systems preamps, the PT2-500 boasts a frequency response of 1.5Hz-600kHz (-3dB).

The TRUE Systems PT2-500 will be on display in distributor TransAudio Group’s NAMM Booth 6849 in Hall A.
