Tascam unveils new pro CD recorder

The new CD-RW901 professional CD recorder shown at the recent InfoComm expo by Tascam offers professional connections and features, such as AES-EBU digital I/O, XLR balanced analog I/O, RS-232 serial control and a timed track increment for adding track markers during recording. Additional features include dedicated input controls, wired remote and a parallel control port.

The CD-RW901 retains the top features of its predecessor, the CD-RW900, including CD Text and MP3 ID3 tag display; ±16 percent pitch control in 0.1 percent steps (CD audio discs only); key control (CD audio discs only); fade-in/fade-out recording features; PS/2 keyboard input; auto track increment by level with trim function; sample rate converter; all, single, program, random play and repeat play modes; and power-on play.
