Starhub TV on Mobile launches four new channels to Singapore’s foreign nationals

Singapore's StarHub TV on Mobile now offers prepaid customers 3G mobile phone access to four StarHub cable TV channels: CTI TV, MNC-The Indonesian Channel, Vannathirai Channel and Zee TV. Targeting mostly foreign nationals whose work brings them to Singapore, the service highlights mobile television’s value as a platform for reaching this and other niche markets.

"We believe [customers] will welcome and enjoy this service offering and feel at home watching their favorite television programs in their respective languages," said Chan Kin Hung, StarHub's head of products and services. "Moving forward, we are looking at adding more ethnic language channels to our mobile TV channel lineup to cater to our mobile prepaid customers from other ethnic groups."
