Soundmaster releases VIRPAD

Soundmaster Group’s VIRPAD is made up of a series of virtual keypad interfaces for its ION operating environment. The system is programmable, with LCD soft labels on each switch and an integrated vacuum fluorescent display, providing a compact, tactile user-defined matrix that can be directly mounted in consoles made by Harrison, AMS Neve, Euphonix and others. A film panel version incorporating traditional paddle switches for record and monitor control can be installed directly into the Digidesign ICON D-Control or in a variable-rate desktop-mount perfect for script trays, including those used by Lawo, Studer and StageTec.
