Recording Academy’s P&E Wing takes on remix delivery standards

The Producers & Engineers Wing of The Recording Academy (formerly NARAS) has established a new remix delivery standards committee. Mixer Brian Transeau heads the committee.

Following closely on the heels of the release of its technical recommendation document, "Guidelines for Pro Tools Session Interchange,” the P& E Wing has begun development of a "Remix Delivery Standards" guideline to be released this fall.

One of the goals of the committee is to create technical standards that would permit online download services such as iTunes.
