RealTraps introduces new line of acoustic panels

RealTraps has announced three new acoustic panels designed to provide exceptional cosmetic appearance and acoustic performance. At the same time, RealTraps also announced that it was now including mounting hardware with all of its acoustic products.

At 4in deep, the new Corner MondoTrap is similar to a standard MondoTrap, but with beveled sides to nest attractively in a corner and to appear only 1in deep. All other dimensions and properties are the same as a standard MondoTrap, the most capable bass trap available.

The RealTraps Tri-Corner is a triangle-shaped bass trap, also 4in thick, that fits perfectly in tri-corners where two walls meet the ceiling or floor. Like the Corner MondoTrap, the new Tri-Corner appears only 1in thick when installed, to visually intrude as little as possible while still retaining very high performance. At 32in on each side, it has a surface area large enough to tame even very low bass frequencies.

The new RFZ panel is designed specifically for first reflections, but at 32in by 42in by 2in thick, it creates a deeper Reflection Free Zone than typical 2ft by 4ft panels. The front surface is also beveled to look more like a picture frame than an acoustic panel.

All three new products are available in various colors, and can be seen in the new room setup video at www.realtraps.com/videos.htm.
