OIART chooses Avastor

The Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology (OIART), based in London, Ontario, has selected Avastor’s HDX-400 dual FireWire external hard drives for storing sessions on the facility’s various digital workstations. OIART offers a comprehensive immersion program that prepares graduates for professional careers in music recording, live sound, audio for picture and related fields.

Among the design features triggering the selection were the HDX-400’s robust internal AC power supply, cooling fan and screwless drive enclosure assembly. A NARAS-approved label set and tough lockbox packaging completes the system.
