NSCA Expo offers on-site hearing health resources through HEI

The NSCA will sponsor the House Ear Institute's presence at its NSCA Expo, March 15-17 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. The House Ear Institute (HEI) will offer a range of free hearing health resources to attendees and exhibitors in Booth #577, including confidential hearing screenings sponsored by Shure. HEI will also provide hearing health information. HEI's booth will open each day 30 minutes before the show floor, and will remain open throughout show hours.

The free hearing screenings are an important part of the HEI Sound Partners hearing conservation outreach program and Shure's Listen Safe program. Sound Partners is dedicated to raising awareness among the public and audio professionals of the impact of hearing loss due to overexposure to sound levels at volumes exceeding 85dB. Hearing conservation education among audio professionals is crucial because they are a high-risk group for noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL).

HEI is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing hearing science through research and education.
