MXL ships V88 studio microphone

MXL Microphones, the pro audio division of Marshall Electronics, has introduced a new microphone, the V88, designed for general-purpose recording. The new V88 is a large-diaphragm, pressure-gradient cardioid condenser with fully balanced transformerless output.

Internally wired with Mogami cable for pristine signal transfer, the V88 features a large 32mm capsule with a gold sputtered diaphragm. With extremely low noise and a high sound pressure level rating, the V88 faithfully captures the dynamics of the human voice with a remarkably smooth frequency response of 20Hz-20KHz. Featuring a nickel-plated finish and a low-profile form factor of less than 6in, the MXL V88 is shipped complete with shock mount adapter and protective aluminum flight case.
