Logitek debuts Artisan digital broadcast console

Logitek Electronic Systems has introduced the Artisan line of router-based digital audio consoles. These new Artisan consoles are control surfaces for the Logitek Audio Engine, a full-featured router accomodating analog and digital audio I/O. Applications for the Artisan console include on-air and news applications for small to medium market TV broadcasters, advanced radio production and small performance group mixing.

The Artisan console offers 5.1 compatible operation and is offered in multiple frame sizes. Other features include direct access to two master mix busses and four submix busses from each fade module, a five-function dynamics processor and four-band equalizer and easy-to-read LCD screens on each module.

Artisan consoles use a series of drop-in modules that permit users to purchase console configurations that exactly meet their needs. Options include a fader module, monitor module, effects module and master module. A choice of narrow and wide meter bridges is offered to complete the package.

Logitek has announced a Q4 initial ship date.
