George Massenberg to open advanced monitoring studio in Nashville

George Massenberg, mixer and founder of GML, will open an advanced monitoring studio within the new facility extension at Blackbird Studios in Nashville.

The facility is slated to open in March 2005. Massenberg’s room design is a collaboration between Massenberg, Peter D’Antonio of RPG Diffuser Systems and studio designer Michael Cronin.

A Sony Oxford console will be used in the facility. The studio will have a radically new diffusion design. Massenberg is currently auditioning various speaker components, including B&W, ATC and Genelec.
