D2 Audio unveils small digital amplifier

D2Audio’s TXS amp is smaller than the size of a business card, weighing less than 1oz and measuring 1.5in x 3in x 1in. The two-channel amplifier offers premium stereo audio at 25W per channel into a full 8-ohm speaker load.

The TXS features include customizable audio signal processing, smooth brownout recovery, soft-current limiting without shutdown, and automatic short circuit recovery. Additionally, the intelligent D2 audio processor IC with embedded DSP core and the non-volatile memory of the TXS enables a variety of installations.
