Clear-Com rolls out Easi-PiCo matrix intercom

Clear-Com unveiled its Eclipse Easi-PiCo digital matrix intercom solution during IBC2007.

Easi-PiCo is a pre-configured entry-level matrix system, specifically designed for small and growing production teams in broadcast and live performance venues that need the flexibility of point-to-point intercommunication on a small scale.

The Easi-PiCo system meets the needs of production teams that have outgrown their existing party-line systems and require the capabilities of a small-scale matrix solution. A simple plug-and-play digital matrix intercom package, Easi-PiCo is preconfigured with four matrix maps supporting 16 ports in a 1RU frame and two external interface cards with a choice of two control panels and a beltpack.

The new matrix supports Cat 5 structured cabling and has a redundant matrix power supply unit.
