XM to Air Live Concerts From Blue Note, B.B. King Blues Club
XM Satellite Radio will broadcast live concerts from the Blue Note and the B.B. King Blues Club in New York City. As part of a multi-year agreement, XM is airing a variety of shows from Manhattan concert halls on several of its commercial-free music channels. Concerts include performances by jazz artist Chick Corea, R&B's Aaron Neville, reggae musician Jimmy Cliff, and rock artist Alan Parsons.
The Blue Note, located in the heart of Greenwich Village, is the flagship of an international network of Blue Note nightclubs. It showcases jazz artists as well as musicians for other formats, such as blues, Latin, Brazilian, fusion, R&B, soul, big band, and pop music.
The B.B. King Blues Club near Times Square on 42nd Street, the hosts performances by talent from a range of musical genres, including, B.B. King.
