WW1/CBS Radio Makes Super Bowl Plans
Details are in place for Super Bowl coverage at Westwood One/CBS Radio Sports, the network radio rights-holder of the NFL.
Super Bowl XXXVI from the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans is Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002. Pre-game coverage begins at 5 p.m. ET, followed by kickoff at approximately 6:20 p.m.
Commentators Howard David and Boomer Esiason will do play-by-play, with John Dockery and James Lofton on the sidelines. Lesley Visser will provide interviews; Jim Gray will host the pre-game, halftime and post-game shows with contributions from Tommy Tighe.
A one-hour special, "Super Sunday," hosted by Larry Michael, precedes Westwood coverage at 4 p.m.
