WMFE-TV Upgrades With Sundance Digital's Titan
WMFE-TV, the PBS affiliate in Orlando used
Sundance Digital's Titan software and service package as part of its master control upgrade.
The community-owned station recently installed Titan to drive seven channels and control a SeaChange video server, Nvision router, four BitLink satellite IRDs, six Motorola 4800 series IRDs and six VertigoXmedias.
"When we looked at the features and capacity we needed, it appeared that Titan was the best size and fit for us. There are some significant expansion possibilities and Titan has the ability to scale-up. You just add boxes," said Mike Simmons, director of engineering for WMFE.
Titan is a highly scalable automation system that can control hundreds of channels in a facility or remotely manage playlists at multiple locations.
