Who Does Work For Live Productions/Events?
Live production work done by many different types of studios as one-in-three U.S. studios do work for live productions/events.
Producing live events usually involves a different equipment and production setup. If your company specializes in this gear or provides support services for live productions, knowing which types of studios do this work can help target marketing and sales activities. As expected, 73% of broadcasters do live productions, however so do half of the corporate film and video studios, and half of the video editing/recording studios. 41% of production companies do live event work as do a third of the independent filmmakers. All sizes of studios including freelancers do work for live productions/events, and 14% see these events as sources of new business.
