White Upped at Greater Media Charlotte

Greater Media promoted Bill White to operations manager of WBT(AM/FM) and WLNK(FM) in Charlotte, N.C.

He’s been director of programming and news at the two WBTs for nine years; before that he was a PD at KMBZ(AM)/KCMO(AM) Kansas City, KDKA(AM) Pittsburgh and WTVN(AM) Columbus, Ohio, as well as WEZN(FM) Bridgeport and WTIC(AM) in Hartford, both in Connecticut.

Assistant PD Carl East of WBT becomes PD WBT(AM/FM). Neal Sharpe continues as program director of WLNK(FM).
