Wheatstone Crosses the Pond
Wheatstone is looking to expand its international footprint with two notable announcements.

The manufacturer named U.K.-based broadcast equipment supplier Audio Emporium distributor of its products in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

The company says it hopes the deal will create a new market presence for its Wheatstone, Audioarts Engineering and Vorsis divisions. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Audio Emporium owner Ian Oakland said Wheatstone provides a range of price points, which makes quality gear more affordable to clients who might have shied away from high-end audio products in the past.

Separately, the company said AVIT-Systems, Scandinavian integrator of radio and TV broadcast products, has been designated an official dealer for the Wheatstone Audio product line. AVIT-Systems also will carry Audioarts Engineering radio consoles, Vorsis audio processors and the iXO Commercial Audio DSP system.
