Virgin Media Television Makes ScheduALL Upgrade
UK-based content provider, Virgin Media Television, has announced that it has upgraded its promo creation and compliance versioning operations with ScheduALL’s Enterprise Resource Management (ERM) application.
Virgin Media delivers content for six of its seven broadcast channels and will use the enhanced capabilities from the new ERM software to measure and monitor use and productivity of various resources, and for correlating data with project and budget targets.
“We run our promos department as a bookable, chargeable facility with resources broken down by cost,” said Dan Marbrook, Virgin Media TV’s post-production manager. “ScheduALL gives us the means to manage and track the use of those resources so that we maintain a high level of productivity and meet our contract requirements. ScheduALL is a valuable business tool for us, providing reliable operation, backed by excellent support.”
Virgin Media TV uses the services of its technology partner, Red Bee Media, for broadcast, post-production and transmission services. ScheduALL’s ERM is also expected to assist in managing content recording operations from live feeds originating in the United States and live U.K. broadcasts which are delivered by Red Bee.
