ViewCast to Showcase Encoding and Streaming Solutions
At IBC2007, ViewCast Corp., a Plano, Texas-based provider of video networking systems, will exhibit several new products based on its Niagara encoding/storage platform as well as several new Osprey capture cards.
The Niagara GoStream Plus portable streaming media encoder features three EZStream buttons on the front panel to select pre-defined encoding profiles.
Niagara PowerStream Pro II for high-resolution video capturing and streaming features a new front panel interface with three EZStream buttons and the LCD Ease menu system plus a two-channel confidence monitor.
The Niagara SCX Pro software controls and monitors multiple encoders over an IP network from a single interface and adds the ability of MPEG-4/H.264 and H.263 live streaming encoding.
Niagara SchedulStream automation software helps schedule and manage MPEG-4, Wndows Media, and RealVideo encoding sessions. Niagara SCX, coupled with SchedulStream, is compatible with all Harris media management and automation systems.
The new Osprey-700 HD is an HD-SDI and SD-SDI A/V video capture card that supports re-purposing HD and standard definition (SD) content for IP video distribution and video-on-demand applications. The Osprey-240 video capture card for high-performance PC motherboards provides component, Y/C (S-Video), composite, and balanced and unbalanced stereo inputs. Both feature a 1-lane PCI Express interface.
