Vertigo and Omnibus Ink Automation System Distribution Deal
Content automation and graphics and wireless equipment provider VertigoXmedia recently signed a distribution agreement with OmniBus Systems.

OmniBus will integrate parts of VertigoXmedia's Producer Xmedia control and automation system software in its Columbus transmission automation system to control graphics in television newsrooms and live productions. Producer Xmedia is a suite of applications for automatically creating and managing content across multiple media channels, reducing the technical complexity associated with acquiring and automating content.

The combined system is designed to streamline the production process so journalists can create news stories and on-air graphics from one MOS-compliant workstation and deliver the graphics and editorial content to air automatically in a complete, synchronized form.
