USB AM FM Tuner Coming Soon
Logitech is developing a USB stick that functions as an AM/FM radio tuner when inserted into a laptop or desktop computer.
The device contains an FM antenna only, so you'd need an external AM antenna to receive those broadcasts, according to
Device Daily, which says the radio tuner USB stick also allows the user to record broadcasts.
Logitech reportedly plans to release the devices — for PCs and Macs — next month. No price has been announced. Logitech makes "personal peripherals" used in PC navigation, Internet communications, digital music and other markets.
How cool. You can set this up to record songs and download them into your computer. Plus, this ties into the trend of USB-powered devices for laptops, like lights, for example, that are so convenient.
