U.S. Government Now Has a YouTube Channel
(From Government Video)

Various federal agencies have had them for a while. But Thursday (May 21), all Uncle Sam’s YouTube channels can be accessed in one place, the U.S. Government YouTube Channel.

The site features channels and content from across the government.

It offers playlists on several topics including “Benefits and Grants,” “Public Safety and Law” and—leading the pack with 25 videos—“Health and Nutrition.”

A quick scan of the available videos shows a diverse range of topics, from one of Patty Duke talking about filing for Social Security benefits from Zanzibar, to “Lessons at Little Bohemia,” about famed bank robber John Dillinger.

It also has channels and feeds arranged by agency, as well as a place for users to post video comments.

The YouTube channel can be accessed here.
