U.S. Football Fans Get Celtic
Sirius Satellite Radio has signed a deal to air coverage of Celtic F.C.

The Glasgow, Scotland-based football side, founded in 1888, plays in the Scottish Premier League; the team has won the league championship 41 times, the Scottish Cup 34 times and the Scottish League Cup 13 times. Most recently, it took both the league championship and the Scottish Cup in 2007.

A team official said the club has support in the United States "as evidenced by the number of fans who attended our recent matches against the MLS All Stars and Chicago Fire."

Sirius already airs the UEFA Champions League, English Premier League and Chelsea F.C.
