UPN, Google Stream Chris Rock Show
For the premiere of "Everybody Hates Chris," UPN and Google have partnered to stream the first episode.
For four days starting Sept. 26, viewers could watch the show about the life of a teenaged Chris Rock on Google Video and the UPN Web site.

The Sept. 22 TV premiere set ratings records on UPN as the most-watched episode of any comedy series on the network, which is part of CBS Television, a unit of Viacom.

"Everybody Hates Chris" won is its time slot in adults aged 18 to 49 in New York, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. and ranked second in Los Angeles, Chicago and Philadelphia.

The single-camera comedy show about Rock's Brooklyn, N.Y., upbringing in the 1980s, narrated by Rock, beat NBC's "Joey" and steamy beach drama "The OC" on Fox, which also air on Thursdays at 8 p.m.

UPN also made streams of the show's "Sneak Peek" and interviews with the cast available on its Web site.
