TWR Lighting Shows 6-LED Marker Light
Incorporating six LED lamps, a marker lamp as bright as a standard 116 watt incandescent marker is being marketed by TWR Lighting Inc.
“This new product minimizes both production costs and energy usage,” said Scott Meador, business development manager. The lamp will carry a five-year warranty. As with the existing OL1 LED marker, the lamp housing is molded of Valox fiberglass reinforced thermoplastic.
“Valox is lightweight, non-corrosive and nearly indestructible,” said Meador. The LED marker lamps require a special ice shield, as they do not generate enough heat to melt an ice coating.
