TVB Tech Alert: Samsung Bows Ultra-Def Video Wall

Samsung UHD Video WallORLANDO, FLA.: Samsung Electronics America announced the release of its ultra-definition display system at Infocomm. The Samsung UD can display information from up to 125 networked PCs on a wall created of up to 250 Samsung UD monitors, controlled by a single server. Source material can come from Web cams and security cameras as well as video files.

Samsung rolled out an 82-inch, ultra-def TV at the Consumer Electronics Show last year. The set has a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160, or around four times that of a standard LCD. – Deborah D. McAdams
