TVB Tech Alert: Panasonic 3D Camcorder
LAS VEGAS: Panasonic has unveiled its first professional, integrated HD 3D camcorder, a solid state twin-lens system with on-board stereoscopic adjustment. The main unit weighs in at just under three kilos and power consumption comes in at less than 19 Watts. It will use standard SDHC/SD memory cards. Panasonic is pricing the camcorder at $21,000. The company said it would start taking orders for the 3D camcorder in April for fall delivery. Panasonic3DCamcorder

In addition to a camcorder, Panasonic also plans to offer a professional-quality 3D full HD LCD monitor for field use as well as a professional HD digital AV mixer for live event production.
