TV Stations Team With High School Sports Aggregator
MINNETONKA, MINN.: TV stations in Kansas, Minnesota and Washington will be feeding high-school sports coverage to an online aggregator, GrandStadium.TV. The site specializes in streaming high-school games. KWCH-TV, the CBS in Hutchison, Kan.; KHQ-TV, the NBC affiliate in Spokane, Wash.; and KSTC-TV, an indie station in Minneapolis/St. Paul will contribute local material to GrandStadium.TV, the Minnesota-based firm said.

KSTC will offer “every high school tournament free” over the next four years, GrandStadium said. Some will be promoted online in a pay-per-view format. KWCH and KHQ both have their own online sports channels that offer games as pay-per-views.

GrandStadium.TV says it can “simultaneously broadcast up to 4,000 games at once,” and that participating stations keep 100 percent of sponsorship revenues.
