Trinity Broadcast Upgrades with Sundance
Christian TV network Trinity Broadcast has installed a Sundance Digital FastBreak Automation system at its Tustin, Calif headquarters. The pair worked with San-Diego-based system integrator, TV Magic, to develop a system that transitions the network to a multi-channel, multi-server facility.
At Trinity headquarters, a FastBreak Automation system controls video servers and other station peripherals with Grass Valley Profile servers and interfaces with SGL's Flashnet archive management software and a DVD-based Asaca near-line storage system.
The system includes ListSync, which provides real-time on-air playlist redundancy; MediaCacher, which automates the transfer of content from tape to the server; and Sundance Archive Manager, which controls the movement of media from server to near-line archive and back.
TBN is a non-profit network, airing Christian programming, and is carried by more than 3,100 TV stations worldwide.
