Tim Robbins to Give Opening Keynote at NAB Show
Nuke LaLoosh is coming to the show.

Academy Award-winning actor and screenwriter, director and producer Tim Robbins will deliver the opening keynote speech on April 14 at the NAB Show in Las Vegas. His keynote will follow NAB President and CEO David K. Rehr’s State of the Industry Address.

Why Robbins?

NAB says the actor, best known for roles in “Bull Durham,” “The Hudsucker Proxy” and “The Shawshank Redemption”and his directorial effort “Cradle Will Rock,” will speak on the changing face of entertainment and how new distribution and content creation opportunities will affect Hollywood and other industries. Robbins also will participate in a moderated Q&A.

Other keynote presenters at this year’s NAB Show include Jeffrey Katzenberg and Roger Enrico of DreamWorks with Todd Bradley of HP; Hulu CEO Jason Kilar; “Lost” Executive Producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof; “Jumper” Director and Producer Doug Liman; and CSI Creator and Executive Producer Anthony E. Zuiker.
