The Fall Classic is on the Air
The pennant races are over and the race to the
World Series is under way. With a change in its television broadcast partners in effect for the 2007 playoffs, some fans are having trouble seeing the games, but Chicago Sun-Times
columnist Mark Brown writes that radio is the ideal medium for following baseball.
“Listen to the game on the radio. Sure, it’s retro. That’s the beauty. Baseball was meant for radio.” Brown writes.
For those not in range of a radio affiliate of the Angels, Cubs, Diamondbacks, Indians, Phillies, Red Sox, Rockies or Yankees,
ESPN Radio is airing every pitch of the postseason nationwide.
