Thales Wins Tech Emmy
Thales Broadcast & Multimedia division has received an Emmy for Technical and Engineering Excellence by the National Academy of Arts and Sciences.

The Emmy - Thales third - is in recognition of the company's development of Digital Modulator Adaptive Pre-Correction for ATSC Digital Transmitter Systems (DAP), which minimizes the set-up and maintenance times required of traditional manual correction systems. DAP also guarantees the quality of the broadcast signal and consequently the coverage, as well as the out-of-band product (shoulders) and the protection of the analog TV signal in the adjacent channel.

The award was presented in a ceremony in New York City this week.
