Tektronix to Demo New Software for Video Compression Standards at IBC
Tektronix will demo its new analysis software for next-gen video compression at IBC.

The MTS4EA Video Elementary (ES) Analyzer provides ES analysis support for MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264/AVC, H.261, H.263, H.263+ and 3GPP standards. Users can purchase the different types of codecs for the Tektronix MTS4EA ES Analyzer.

The software can run on a PC or on Tektronix AD953A and AD951A MPEG test systems. The Beaverton, Ore.-based company also updated its MTM400M MPEG Transport Stream Monitor by adding H.264/AVC and Windows Media 9 support.
