Technical and Public Safety Enforcement Division Renamed Spectrum Enforcement Division
The FCC announced July 16 that the FCC Enforcement Bureau changed the name of its Technical and Public Safety Division to the "Spectrum Enforcement Division." The Spectrum Enforcement Division is responsible for enforcement and support for Field Office enforcement efforts in areas including unauthorized construction and operation, interference, equipment requirements, 911 and E911, radio tower lighting. It also operates the Enforcement Bureau's high frequency direction-finding facilities.
