New from TeamCast is the RPX-1000 measurement probe, which monitors signal quality of at the output of DVB-T/-H/-SH transmitters.

The main measurement parameters displayed are the modulation error ratio, a key indicator of the quality of the digitally modulated signal; the output signal level; and the shoulder levels — which reflect the good health of a transmitter and provide confidence measures that adjacent channels are not being jammed.

Also new is Power4Cast, a new product implementation platform that can handle various standards and functions on a single hardware core. The first product to use this platform will be Power4-T2, a DVB-T2 modulator to be released early 2009.
