Super Bowl Goes Interactive
This Sunday, sports fans will be able to indulge their fantasies of playing in the Super Bowl. ABC Sports and Walt Disney Internet Group's enhanced TV division (ETV) will deliver live PC-based interactive-TV services during the telecast of Super Bowl XXXVII on Jan. 26 starting at 2:00 p.m. (ET).

ETV coverage will begin during the pre-game show and continue through the post-game show. Applications include "Single Game Fantasy Football," a live, interactive game letting players build a roster of fantasy players from Super Bowl teams playing on TV, and Live Stats, a real-time, interactive database of game, player, career and team statistics. Other features include Instant Polling and Live Comments.

Since the start of 2002-03 football season, more than 1.5 million fans have checked out ETV football programming for ABC's Monday Night Football, ESPN's Sunday Night Football, ABC's Wild Card Playoff Doubleheader and the Bowl Championship series. To access the ETV application, viewers can log on to ESPN.com and click on the ETV logo or visit Superbowl.com.
