Studio Technologies Rolls Out New Cable Tester and Interface
Studio Technologies will demonstrate a new cable assembly testing unit at NAB2007.
The Model 92 DT12 Cable Assembly Test Unit, widely used by the mobile broadcast industry, allows technical personnel to quickly and accurately confirm DT12 performance. The unit verifies that all signal paths are fully functional, minimizing the chance of cable-related problems.
Features include complete DT12 testing in less than six seconds; end-to-end testing supported; and channel or pin mode testing. The unit comes with external 120 VAC input/12 VDC output power supply.
Designed for television sports and special event broadcasting, theme park and theater installations, corporate events, and industrial testing environments, the Model 46 interfaces 2-wire full-duplex party line intercom circuits with 4-wire audio circuits associated with matrix intercom systems. Multiple LED level meters allow continuous monitoring of the input and output signals in 1 RU.
Studio Technologies will be in booth C8723.
